At MIS, we encourage our students to reflect upon their own learning profile. This is designed to enhance their self-awareness and give them the language and skills necessary to become independent and interdependent learners. This assessment for learning behaviour model is completely differentiated ensuring that all students can become what we refer to as ‘Platinum’ learners. Given our belief that learning is all-inclusive and for life, students reaching the highest levels of LP learning behaviour will be prepared to go on from MIS into Higher Education or employment with the skills requisite to become highly successful people. It is a completely positive approach simply providing teachers, students and parents with a shared dialogue for development.
