Brief overview: In Year 10, Mathematics is delivered through 5 lessons, each week, In class, students work individually, in pairs, in groups and as a whole class, on a broad range of activities, to develop their skills in Algebra and Geometry.
“Setting”: Individuals are placed in one of three bands, depending on the students‟ needs.
Specific Equipment: The students are given copy books and folders for key assessments.
Useful Resources: Students are given different texts according to the unit of work they are studying. More information will be available on the website, along with recommended extended reading lists for each unit.
Homework Expectations: up to one hour of homework per week.
