Brief overview: Year 8 Science aims to ensure that all pupils:
- develop scientific knowledge and conceptual understanding through the specific disciplines of biology, chemistry, and physics
- develop understanding of the nature, processes, and methods of science through different types of science inquiries that help them to answer scientific questions about the world around them
“Setting”: Lessons take place in a classroom and for practical work in the general laboratory.
Specific Equipment required by all students: Calculators, ruler, pencil, protractor
Useful Resources: Students are given textbook, copy book and worksheets
Homework guidance: up to 1 hour of homework per week.
